Curiosity: In Persian mythology, lavender is associated with the legend of Lavy, the King's daughter who, on a full moon night, was transformed by the Gods into the delicate and fragrant blue ear that we all appreciate. By order of her father, before marrying the Sultan of Asia, she had to learn Astronomy and Botany, so she was assigned as a teacher the young Nibis. The two young men fell madly in love with each other, asked Heaven for help and the Gods transformed the body of the young woman embraced by her lover into Lavender.
